On behalf of the Village Board of Trustees and our professional staff, I would like to welcome you to the Village of Forsyth where “Pride and Progress” is more than just a motto.  We are committed to openness and transparency in government, and to that end, I hope that you will find this website useful.

If you are interested in the financial picture f the Village, our fiscal budget can be found here, and a simplified summary is available here.  Also available is our recently updated Comprehensive Plan, as well as our Code of Ordinances.

Should you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Village Hall and one of our friendly staff members will be happy to help you.  If you need further resolution, our Board of Trustees meets every first and third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in Village Hall.  We welcome your input and participation.

Forsyth is a wonderful place to live, do business, shop, dine and enjoy the community.  We have top-rate public and private school, a collection of lovely parks and pocket parks, meandering trails for biking, walking and running, well maintained streets, a state-of-the-art water treatment plant, great law enforcement as well as, a fantastic library with programs for children and adults.

If you have ideas for ways that we can improve, please let us know. We’re here to serve you!

Sincerely,
Mayor Marilyn J. Johnson
