Village Government

The Village of Forsyth is structured with a Trustee-President form of government, with the Board of Trustees being the Legislative Department of the Village. The Board of Trustees consists of six Trustees and the President (also referred to as "Mayor"), all of whom are elected to four-year terms of office.

The Board of Trustees regularly meets at 6:30 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. Meetings are held in the Board Room at Forsyth Village Hall, 301 S. Route 51 (just south of the intersection of Route 51 and Forsyth Parkway, with entry off of Forsyth Parkway) All meetings are open to the public and include a public comment period during which residents may address the Board.
