April is time for yearly spring Clean Up Days
Thursday, April 13, 2017
It’s almost time for the Village’s annual free Clean Up Days. So take this opportunity to get your junk loaded up and hauled out to the curb on the appropriate day per the neighborhood pickup schedule listed below. This is a tradition that helps get the spring season off to a good start. It all begins Monday, April 24 and runs through the week ending on Friday, April 28. All Forsyth residents may take advantage of this free chance to dispose of unwanted large items. Please note that some restrictions apply.
While electronics are banned from landfills, the Village uses a state-certified recycler who will take eligible electronics for recycling.
Clean Up Days exceptions include: landscape waste, oil, hazardous chemicals, paint, tires, household trash and railroad ties. Curbside pickup is daily beginning at 7 a.m. If you have questions, please call Village Hall at 877-9445.
