Cave named Village engineer

Thursday, August 31, 2017

Back in June it was announced that The Village’s longtime engineering firm, Bainbridge, Gee, Milanski and Associates, had merged with Chastain & Associates. Chastain’s Mary Cave told trustees that the merger would be beneficial to both firms and would provide better service to clients, including the Village. She added that all BGM employees were being retained.

In July, Cave was formally announced as the Village engineer for the Village of Forsyth. She replaces David Harp, who remains with the company but is now working on other projects out of a different office.

Cave is a licensed professional engineer with more than 12 years of experience. She spent seven years working for the City of Decatur rising to the position of assistant city engineer. Cave joined Chastain in 2015 and works in the firm’s Decatur office.
