Mall’s former Sears gets haunted again for Halloween

The Scream Haunted Adventure returns to Hickory Point Mall in the former Sears location. Dubbed Central Illinois’ largest haunted house at “10,000-square-feet of fright,” there’s still fun to be had on Friday and Saturday night, 7-11 p.m. and on Halloween night from 7-10 p.m. General admission starts at $12.

The Scream, a fundraiser for Decatur Celebration, is sponsored by Creatures of the Night, a group whose goal is all about “scaring people in a safe and fun environment.”

You can expect a family-friendly event that includes “zombies, clowns, spiders, beasts, and more.”

For more info, contact 423-4222 or scream@decaturscream.com.
