Story Time

Bring your pearly whites to Forsyth Public Library on February 1 for Brush your Teeth story time! Our story time sessions feature stories, activities and crafts centered around a theme for ages 2-5. On February 8 get ready for some snuggly bear hugs at our Burly Bears Story Time. Then wear pink or red to celebrate Valentine’s Day with us on February 15! Join us every Friday at 10 a.m. Siblings are welcome, and no registration is necessary.

Baby Talk

Families with children ages birth to 3 are invited to our Baby TALK sessions on Wednesdays throughout the year from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Sessions are informal and provide opportunities to share parenting concerns and achievements while enjoying books, songs and finger-plays. Baby TALK is free, with no registration required.

Valentines for Vets

Show some love to our veterans this Valentine’s Day! Stop by the library at any time between February 1 and February 9 to create valentines for veterans. We will have the supplies available for all ages so you can create as many valentines as you like! Valentines will be mailed to the VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville.

Winter STEAM

Explore science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics during the library’s winter STEAM events. We’ll make slime, magic milk, salt paintings and so much more! Former science teacher and current homeschool instructor Cheryl Higgs will lead kids ages 7 and up in exciting, hands-on activities on Thursdays in February from 4-5 p.m. Each week the focus will be on a different scientific concept. Space is limited so register soon by calling 877-8174, or register online at Eventbrite.com by searching for Winter STEAM. Register for one or all of these themed events!

In addition, she will talk about checkbook software options for those who have resolved to keep better records for next year. No registration is necessary.
