Adult Bingo

Have fun playing bingo at Forsyth Public Library! We’ll have light refreshments and prizes for the winners on Monday, April 16 at 1 p.m. All adults are welcome!

Dance With Me

Brain Dance with Michi Barber from The Dance Centre at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 17. Children and their adult partner will dance and learn together, exploring movement that provides a body and brain workout. Activities are designed for ages 16 months through 3, but all children not yet in kindergarten are welcome. Come dance for free! No registration is necessary.

Story Time

You won’t want to miss our last two story times of the spring. On April 20 we’ll be reading all about Spectacular Space. Get Rhythm on April 27 while we explore music and movement! Story times begin at 10 a.m. each Friday and are geared toward ages 3-5, with siblings welcome. No registration is necessary.

Baby TALK

Socialize with other parents and caregivers of children ages birth-3 on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. These informal parent/child sessions are led by trained Baby TALK instructors and provide opportunity to share parenting concerns and celebrate achievements while enjoying books, songs and fingerplays. Baby TALK is free with no registration required.

LEGO Contest Day

If you enjoy building and creating with LEGO bricks, be sure to drop by the library on Saturday, April 28 any time between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Your creation could be chosen to be on display at the library for the first two weeks in May!

Bookkeepers

My Not So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella is the April title for the Bookkeepers Book Group. Join the group at the library on Friday, April 20 at 10 a.m. to discuss this fresh, modern story about presenting the perfect life, which in reality is far from the truth.

Card Workshop

Join us for an opportunity to craft handmade greeting cards. On Saturday, April 21 at 10 a.m., Linda Baker and Sherri Suzewitz will lead participants in making two cards suitable for sending to friends and family. All supplies will be provided. No prior card-making experience is necessary. Please register in advance by calling 877-8174. This class is open to adults only.

Magazine & Used Materials Sale

The library’s 2018 Magazine & Used Materials Sale is Friday, April 13, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., and Saturday, April 14, 10 a.m.–noon. The sale includes: DVDs (50¢), magazines (10¢) and books (25¢). These items have been withdrawn from the library’s collection. Proceeds go to the Village’s general fund.

Calendars are Coming

The Summer Park and Library Program Calendar will soon be arriving in the mail. It contains a full list of all the events offered by the library for the Summer Reading Program and much more. Watch your mailbox so you can make plans for summer fun. Registration for library events begins May 29, and Saturday, June 2 will be our kickoff event. You don’t want to miss it!
