Story Time

After enjoying Polar Bear Playtime on Friday, December 14 at 10 a.m., preschool story times will take a break for the holidays. Watch for the group to resume on January 11. While you wait, stop by Forsyth Public Library and take home a story-time-to-go bundle.

Reindeer Cocoa Cones & Winter Sun Catchers

Drop in the library anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 15 to create a stained glass decoration for your window or Christmas tree. Then make a yummy hot cocoa reindeer treat to take home. Keep them for yourself or give them as holiday gifts!

Holiday Open House

Join us for a festive day of make and take crafts and holiday treats on Tuesday, December 18 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Stop by and celebrate the season with us!

Audio Books

Traveling for the holidays? The library provides a variety of ways to listen to books while you are on the go, including children’s books with audio CD, digital pre-loaded Playaways, traditional audio CD, and multiple ways to download e-audio titles. Ask how your library card can help the miles fly by.

Baby Talk

Baby Talk meets Wednesday mornings from 9:30-10:15 a.m. for ages birth to 3 and their caregivers. No registration is required. Baby talk will not meet on December 26 or January 2, due to the holidays.

Tech Kits

If you are looking for something to keep you busy over winter break, come check out our tech kits or Launchpads. Explore, learn, and have fun!

Chocolate Bingo

Looking for something fun to do with the family over winter break “B4” going back to school? Come to the library for chocolate bingo on Thursday, January 3 from 1-2 p.m. With each winning bingo, the lucky players will be rewarded with a delicious chocolate treat. All ages are welcome, and no registration is required.

Thank You, Public Works!

The library’s Christmas trees are up, and the building is all ready for the December holidays. A big thank you goes out to the Public Works staff for all the valuable help in decorating the library for the season!
