No registration is necessary.

Socialize with other parents and caregivers of children ages birth-3 on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. These informal parent/child sessions are led by trained Baby TALK instructors and provide an opportunity to share parenting concerns and celebrate achievements while enjoying books, songs and fingerplays. Baby TALK is free, and no registration is required. Baby Talk will not meet on January 2 but will resume on January 9.

Dance with Me

Explore music and movement with Michi Barber from the Dance Centre on Tuesday, January 15 at 10 a.m. Ages 16 months through 3 engage body and mind through dance with an adult partner on the third Tuesday of each month. Dance with Me is free, and no registration is necessary.

1000 Books

Want to instill a love of reading into your little ones this new year? Be sure to join over 200 young readers who have participated in the library’s “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” program. Children who sign up receive a book log to help track the titles read/listened to, then earn a book bag when they reach 500 books. The child’s name is placed inside a book of their choice from the library’s children’s collection when they complete the program. Check out the library on Facebook to see past and current participants.

Tech Club

Tech Club will not meet in January. Mark your calendar for the group’s next session on February 12.

Food for Thought Book Group will meet Thursday, January 10 at 6 p.m. January’s selection is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Bookkeepers Book Group will meet Friday, January 18 at 10 a.m. to discuss Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate. Both groups are open to all adult readers.
