Ralph Breaks the Internet

In Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet, Ralph and Vanellope risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web — which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking. Join us at Forsyth Public Library for a showing of this sequel to Wreck it Ralph on Tuesday, March 26 from 1-3 p.m. We’ll enjoy popcorn from Del’s Popcorn Shop while we watch this action-packed animated film.

Story Time

Come join the story time fun with Fabulous Five on March 15! Listen to stories, play games, sing songs and create a craft to take home each Friday at 10 a.m. On March 22, count to three at Little Piggies Story Time. Make sure to come back and shine with us for Mellow Yellow Story Time on March 29! Story times are geared toward ages 2-5 with siblings welcome, and no registration required.

Dance with Me

Explore music and movement with Michi Barber from the Dance Centre on Tuesday, March 19. Ages 16 months through 3 will engage body and mind through dance with an adult partner. Activities are scheduled for 10 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. Event is free with no registration necessary. All children not yet in kindergarten are welcome to attend.


Families with children ages birth to 3, you’re invited to our Baby TALK sessions on Wednesdays throughout the year from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Sessions are informal and provide opportunities to share parenting concerns and achievements while enjoying books, songs and finger-plays. Baby TALK is free with no registration required.

Science Fun at the Library!

It was a packed room each Thursday in February for the library’s series of STEAM programs.STEAMincludes science, technology, engineering, art and math, which participants explored by making slime, magic milk, salt paintings and more. Our thanks to Cheryl Higgs for leading this group. The program was so popular that it will be back this summer with all new experiments and concepts!

Magazine & Used Materials Sale

The library’s 2019 Magazine & Used Materials Sale will be held in the library’s conference room on Friday, April 12 (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Saturday, April 13 (10 a.m. to noon). Sale items will include DVDs (50¢ each), magazines (10¢ each), and books (25 ¢ each). These items have been withdrawn from the library’s collection for reasons of datedness, condition or lack of circulation. Proceeds from the sale go to the Village of Forsyth’s general fund.

Tech Kits for Kids

With spring break coming, you may be looking for something fun AND educational for your kids to do while off school. Check out one of our TechKits from the library, and you and your kids can explore programming, robots, electric circuits, virtual reality and more. You can see all our ForsythTech Kits in the library catalog here:http:/ Families may check out one kit at a time, and kits circulate for one week.

Check out Disc Golf

Spring is just around the corner — an ideal time to get out and try Forsyth’s Disc Golf course! To make it easier, you can check out a bag from the library with an official disc, course map and scorecard. We also have “What is Disc Golf” brochures from the Professional Disc Golf Association to explain the game.
