  • The Maroa-Forsyth School District Foundation annual appeal is under way! Funds raised help to renovate our schools and provide grants to teachers who could use additional financial support.   • Maroa-Forsyth High School is proud to congratulate these students for being named 2018-2019 Illinois State Scholars: Gammachu Amae, Bailey Birkholtz, Reese Bobitt, Erica Elsey, Reilly Fitzpatrick, Jillian Hubbard, Megan Leighton, Cassidy London, Kathryn Reeser, Dani Rizzo, Madeeha Salik, Kolby Wilber and Emily Wisler.
  • At the high school, we recently completed a “Kind Compliments” initiative. Students and faculty were invited to submit a kind word or two about another student or staff member. Several of the responses were read on camera by the person who received the compliment. These touching words showcased just why so many people love Maroa-Forsyth School District and helped make many staff and students’ days. Check out the videos at
